THE METHOD

THREE PERSPECTIVES
A CLEARER PATH FORWARD

MOVE BETTER | FEEL BETTER | LEAD BETTER

SM

Halftime for a Lifetime    is built on a deliberate and integrated method that helps you understand where you have been, how you operate today, and what your future self would tell you to change.

A DELIBERATE AND INTEGRATED APPROACH
THREE PERSPECTIVES. ONE YOU.

The Method brings together your personal history, MBTI and CliftonStrengths®-34 assessments, Leadership Questionnaire (LQ), and the perspective of your future self. Together, these elements challenge you to examine long-held assumptions, identify consistencies, irregularities, and contradictions, recognize potential blind spots, and better understand how your past and present influence the decisions you make today — and the life you want to lead.

The Historian Concept

UNDERSTANDING THE MAN YOU BECAME.

The Historian Concept℠ challenges you to examine the experiences, decisions, successes, failures, and relationships that shaped the man you are today. Through a deliberate and objective examination of your personal and professional history, you begin identifying recurring patterns, assumptions, and behaviors that have influenced your life. The purpose is not to rewrite history, assign blame, or justify past decisions. It is to understand how yesterday's experiences continue to influence how you think, make decisions, and behave today.

You Today

UNDERSTANDING HOW YOU

THINK, ACT AND LEAD.

How well do you really understand the way you operate? Through the integration of your MBTI, CliftonStrengths®-34, and Leadership Questionnaire (LQ) results, you examine the consistencies, irregularities, and potential contradictions between your preferences, natural talents, and self-reported leadership behaviors. Combined with personal reflection and journal work, this process challenges you to question long-held assumptions, recognize potential blind spots, and confront the possibility that how you believe you operate may differ from how you actually behave.

The Plus-30 You

LOOKING BACKWARD FROM

THE MAN YOU WILL BECOME

Imagine yourself 30 years into the future, looking backward at the life you are living today. From that vantage point, what would you tell yourself about what truly matters at work and at home? Have you found the right balance between professional ambition and personal relationships? What lifestyle changes should you have made sooner? What blind spots are you unwilling or unable to recognize today? This is your true gap analysis: identifying the distance between how you are living today and the life your future self would urge you to pursue. Sometimes the only person capable of getting through to you is yourself — 30 years from now.

AN INTEGRATED APPROACH

The Historian Concept℠, You Today℠ and The Plus-30 You℠  are not isolated exercises. They work together with your physical capability, emotional intelligence, and leadership effectiveness to give you a more complete and honest picture of where you are and what needs to change. This integration is what makes Halftime for a Lifetime℠ different.

A STRONGER, CLEARER, MORE INTENTIONAL YOU

When you move better, you build a stronger foundation for physical capability and resilience. When you feel better, you are better positioned to manage emotions, make thoughtful decisions, and respond rather than react. When you lead better, you bring greater intention to your decisions, relationships, and responsibilities - at work and at home.

Same Man. A Different Future
The Method isn't about becoming someone else. It's about understanding the man you've become, confronting how you operate today, and listening to the wisdom of the man you'll be 30 years from now. What you do with that understanding — and what you choose to change — is entirely up to you.
